Only Gossamer My Gown is off undergoing final sonic alchemy. The video for This World is Not Conclusion is en route to our inbox, then en route to yours. And...we have Merch! Show your love for our symphony of darkness by visiting our Threadless shop here!
First, the good news: we're nearly ready to send Only Gossamer My Gown off to be mastered, which means we're nearly ready to share our favorite music we've yet created with you. It's been a long and worthwhile journey to finish this record, all beginning with a pre-show conversation at the Greenville Library. We sincerely hope you'll love this music as much as we do.
Now, the bad news: like other performers, we've sadly watched as our calendar dissolved due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please know we will never perform under circumstances where our safety and that of the audience isn't assured. Since we've been hyper-focused on Only Gossamer My Gown, we've only been dabbling with live streams. Now, with the cancellation of our final held date, I'm sure we'll be working on live stream concerts sooner rather than later. Making it official: we currently have no plans to perform live for the remainder of 2020. We'll be sharing online performance details once we have them.
Thank you for being patient with us! We will see you online soon, I hope. Stay safe and healthy.

Leanna Renee Hieber is a gothic author. Her books are delightfully dark and spooky and peopled with decadent Victorian characters. These books are so incredible and I highly recommend them! So when Leanna approached us to do a theme song for her series, The Spectral City Series, I got so excited. I read carefully through The Spectral City (book 1) and paid attention to which phrases jumped out at me, almost as if the lyrics were in spectral form and I could channel them the way the main character Eve and her close circle of friends (also mediums) channels the spirits. We used a lot of musical parts (layers) to depict the realities Eve has to navigate, whether spectral or corporeal, so listen for the different bass and vocal parts, along with other musical ghostly apparitions.
This song is now available on all the digital streaming and download sites as well. Let's get this song to the top of our list on Spotify!

Valentine Wolfe with the Silkworm Smugglers: Music inspired by history
Two bands inspired by history, oddities, and costuming. With live silkworms! And throat singing!
Valentine Wolfe is a Victorian goth band. They are death positive and play eery electronica using old poems for lyrics.
The Silkworm Smugglers are a Silk Road folk band that literally smuggles silkworms. They are pro-ethical lawlessness and play acoustic tunes from Asia to Europe and can tell you more than you ever wanted to know about silkworms. You'll hear throat singing, flute, mandolin, violin, and cello.
This show will have metal music inspired by the Victorian period, and pre-Victorian music inspired by silkworms.
We like to think of MarsCon as a weekend long party for people who enjoy Science Fiction and Fantasy. It’s a chance to gather with 1,400 or so of your closest friends (or make new friends if you don’t know all 1,400 of us), and talk about science fiction, fantasy, cosplay, gaming, your favorite author, or whatever else you like to talk about.
If you’re looking to game, we have lots of gaming. We’ve had Special Music from Mikey Mason, Jonah Knight, Danny Birt, The Blibbering Humdingers, Valentine Wolfe and many others.
Come out for a night of spooky goodness on January 11. ∆LYS (The Parlor Pinks/The Third Service) will be bringing ethereal electronic vibes during her first solo set at The Eighth State.
