We're Valentine Wolfe: Braxton and Sarah
We're Valentine Wolfe: Braxton and Sarah
We create music inspired by the macabre, the literary gothic (Edgar Allan Poe, Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker), ghosts, seances, and haunting history.
If Bloodborne were a band, we would want to be that band.
We also create music drawing from our love of
classical music, heavy metal, and eerie and atmospheric soundtracks.
Is it goth? Is it metal? Is it electronic?
All we know, as they say in Halloweentown, is that this time, it's ours.
We think it could be yours, too.

Vinyl just haunts harder.
Throughout our entire career, all we heard was that we needed to release singles or nothing. No one wanted albums. No one listened to albums. No one, except us. And, perhaps, you.
Vinyl just goes deeper-from that first, tentative cracking to the full roar of the first song, then flipping the record, and basking in the glow of the final echoes echoing in your dreams.
Have you ever put on a classic album? Felt the anticipation of what's in store for you? I remember the first time I heard Stairway to Heaven-last song, side 1, and that just crushes skipping around a playlist.
For us, it’s what music is all about.

Come with me...
Where myth and magic dance into hypnotic melancholy alchemy
All of these tracks were written during a time in my life when I needed to channel some feelings of empowerment. We’ve all been there. We can all use a dose of magic from time to time. And I do think that music is magical! I love using stories about witches and witchy happenings as a poetical way to talk about the everyday challenges I face. Dealing with feelings of depression and anxiety can be easier when I cast a magical glamour over them. These songs help me feel like I can unlock extra layers of protection and strength and I really needed those this year.

Inspired by mythology, folklore, and the foreboding and eerie southern gothic landscapes of our home, Tales From the Dream Witch is our love letter to the mysterious, the unusual, the outcasts, and those shadows dancing just beyond sight.
Saving (not Slaying) the Dreamers
You can listen to our music on any of the streaming places, and we appreciate each and every stream! But investing in a CD or vinyl album directly from the artist lets us know that you value music enough to help keep these songs playing on the darkened moonlit nights we all love. The internet has made it easier than ever for musicians to get their music out there, but it has also made it harder for musicians to find the funds they need to keep going. A purchase of a vinyl from an artist you enjoy will go a long way to keep these spooky songs on all the streaming services. You can help us keep these haunted dreams alive!
