Once upon a time, we were faced with a dilemma: during our travels, people would ask: "Do you have music on anything other than a CD?" Or "Do you have a copy of this out-of-print CD I can buy?" Or they would hear something we hadn't released yet and want it for their own.
Indeed, how do we share
all the music we write?
We've written and recorded a lot of music.
It's our favorite thing to do.
So we created the Casket of Curiosities: 32GB of music, all wrapped inside a signed 11x17
Valentine Wolfe poster.

A USB 3.0 drive. No CD player in your car? No problem.
But don't wait too long. After 7 days, The Casket of Curiosities will jump up in price.
BONUS: After listening obsessively, you can show off your deep cut Valentine Wolfe knowledge by asking us to play a song we've completely forgotten having written.
Forgotten having written? How could you forget a song you wrote?
Our first recordings were made around 2009, and to be honest, we had to write the blueprint of our music ourselves. Even today, there's not much on YouTube about how to turn the double bass into downtuned rhythm guitars. So to teach ourselves how Valentine Wolfe works, we wrote. And wrote some more. And we keep at it.
Do I get all the music you've released on Patreon, too?
Most of it. The mysteries of The Valentine Society are only for those most dedicated to our arcane melodies. But we don't really release demos, and we've included several alternate versions of these songs for you.
What am I supposed to do with the USB drive? Can I copy the contents to more than one computer?
Anything you like. And of course! Once you buy our music, it's yours. Burn CDs, make your own playlists (in fact, we'd love to see them if you do), copy the music and use the USB for your own nefarious purposes...it's entirely up to you!
Why are there multiple files of the same song? And why aren't there FLAC files for everything?
Instead of one digital file, usually an mp3, we've included multiple audio formats when available. For many songs, you'd have to be with us in the room where it happened. If there's a song on the drive that say, doesn't appear as a
FLAC file, it means even we don't have it.
My USB drive won't work/won't read files/is broken. What do I do?
We will happily replace it, either with a new drive or sending you the digital files.
How often do you update the Casket of Curiosities?
Usually, every time we officially release an album. We've never offered a smaller collection or updates; we'd love to know what you think about that.
Let me get this correct: It's cheaper than buying and downloading the files from another site, you're including two signed posters, and you're sending this to me and I don't have to pay for shipping. Correct?
For the next seven days, yes. Correct.
Interesting. So, tell me: have you taken leave of your senses?
Most likely. Then again, we are only doing this for one week. The Casket hasn't been available for a few years now, and we're curious to see just how mad we've gone.
