Enjoy The Silence…

Forgive the silence…we’ve been trying to post an update for a couple of days, but our wonderful ISP has developed the ever so helpful habit of ceasing internet service when it rains. They shall remain nameless for now (Although They are Terrible), but rest assured, we will only deal with them until we have better options.

And now, some news! Writing sessions for the new collection of songs will end this weekend. The idea stage for the entire album has been completed (indeed, as I previously mentioned, we’re already working on sketches for the next release), and we just need to narrow the bits of material we have into a few more coherent songs.

Sarah has been hard at work creating other gothic delights…check them out on her Etsy shop. There are all kinds of new fashions for the discriminating gothic goddess, and we would appreciate any word of mouth recommendations you care give us. All proceeds go to The Crimson Masquerade Completion and Artwork Fund, so help us out…unless, of course, you’d prefer we do the artwork by hand. In Crayon. On Construction Paper. Which, sadly, is also expensive for us.

Speaking of helping out, and giving a preview of another philosophical entry I’ve been mulling over for a few days, we’d like to recommend NexGen Pulp to you all. This smashing webzine is full of all kinds of creative wonderment, and it is a perfect example of one of my favorite positions: great, creative art vastly outnumbers vapid, insipid, waste of your life artwork…but the former tends to hide in plain sight. I’ve been particularly taken with their youtube channel, and the content there is so good, I totally intend to rip off some of their ideas I’m very inspired by what they’ve achieved.

Anyway, the more we’ve explored NexGen, the more impressed we’ve become. We’d appreciate you checking them out, as I’m sure they would. You can do that by clicking here.

More tomorrow.
